Yesterday was not one of my hottest days. I was such a joy to be around yesterday morning that I'm amazed that Michael stays married to me. I felt fat, couldn't find anything cute enough to wear for church (eventually I put something together), my make-up wasn't looking just so, had to eat breakfast and couldn't find a bowl for my ceral ... and little plastic cups were falling on me, so I threw them into the sink ... Was too tired at church so, after nearly bursting into tears about, oh, ten BAZILLION times, I told Michael that I needed to go home. That and the kiddos NEEDED a nap, too. So Michael did some chores while I slept. For FOUR HOURS. This could be due to the fact that I haven't been sleeping very well. I'm not sure why. Why am I worried? I shouldn't be. In other news: Bruce and Zo had their first drink of real, whole milk yesterday. Michael gave them each half of a burrito (and his burritos are GOOOOOOOOD) and a sippy cup of milk. When Bruce got his cup, he had a taste and tossed what was left of his burrito onto Zo's tray. Silly boy. Oh, and for what it's worth ... the cheapo sippy cups from the dollar store? They're great for a cup of milk. SO easy to clean. Just make sure that the kiddo/s involved don't shake their cups around. THEN it gets very messy. Also --- Confession --- I've really gotten addicted to Beauty and the Geek. I adore Nate and Mario. I'm still laughing about Nate's stand-up from a couple weeks ago. The whole allergies routine. Priceless. And Mario? Heck if the geekiest thing he's got going for him is owning 25,000 comic books ... well I don't think that's too bad. He's not like the one guy on the show who's OBSESSED with Star Trek. Seriously, he wears the Enterprise's uniform as formal wear. O_o (Can we say - a la Strong Bad - "Weirded out!") Bruce and Zoë are having waaaay too much fun with the balls that their great-grandparents got them for their birthday. Zoë kicks one around like she's aspiring to be Beckham. Earlier today, she also tackled one when it was getting away from her. Maybe I should invest in some football gear for her. Bruce likes to throw the balls when he gets ahold of them. I forsee me at a lot of school sports matches. Wish me luck, since I'm nearly sports-illiterate. Do you think they'll mind if I read or play my Nintendo DS?
