We've bought a house. We're going to be moving posthaste. I'm excited. The glowy, eyes-alit excited. This is something I've wanted for so long. We might be moved in (almost totally) by Christmas. There are only two bedrooms, but there is a shop for Michael to work in and for storage. The yard is small, but there's room for playing AND for a garden. We can have a washer and a dryer. And a second fridge/freezer. And our other freezer will fit in the shop. The master bath's tub will fit Michael and me comfortably. We can paint the walls and fix it up ... and in a couple of years, we can flip it (so to speak ... since we do plan on being there for a little while). There's a built-in china cabinet, lots of cupboards, lots of electrical outlets (one in the coat closet!), good amount of closet space ... so what if the carpet isn't gorgeous? And we'll have to wire a bit to put a better light in the master bedroom? Those are little things! We will have central heat! And air conditioning!! The kitchen is set up well. And we get a brand new dishwasher! And it smells nice! Yeah, I'm excited. And getting more excited the more I think of it. Now I just have to get stuff packed up. And we have lots of stuff ... but this will be good. Keep us in your prayers -- that the house closes soon and that everything proceeds without a hitch!!
