Bruce is sleeping through the night due to the (I think) white noise from the humidifier.

My wedding ring keeps getting looser and looser (a definate good sign, since I gain weight ALL over and lose weight ALL over). (Yes, I'm that vain.)

My toenails are red. (Again, yes, I'm vain enough that that makes the news for me.)

MIR IS ENGAGED!!! And I am SO thrilled for her and Otto. They deserve every happiness possible.
This morning, after getting online, I read Mir's "Love Thursday" blog and immediately text-messaged my husband the succinct, low-key message of "MIR'S ENGAGED!!" (And, sweet man that he is, he text-ed back "Yay" ... since he knows how I idolize the pretty, brilliant and wonderful Mir). THEN I had to cal my Bri (who joins me in Mir-admiration), wake her sick self up and ask her "Have you read Mir's blog this morning?!??? READ IT!!!" And she joined in my rejoicings and thrilled-es-ness.

I'm totally digging the free song download of the week on iTunes. This week's song, "True Affection" by The Blow ... seriously catchy. Addictively so. Last week's wasn't my favorite, but "New Shoes" by Paolo Nutini was pretty good.

The kiddos are walking all over. Bruce is pulling himself up into a standing position without the aid of people's pants legs or furniture.

Zoë has five (going on six) teeth. Bruce is staying firm with his two bottom teeth. It looks like he'll be getting his top two in anytime. Maybe he's pulling a Zoë -- waiting (as she did with her first four) for the perfect time and getting in two at a time. Maybe.

Omigosh. Did you watch Bones last night?? Squee!! Except that that was all we got ... if you haven't seen it, watch it on demand (if you have a fast enough internet connection, which we don't. But you might). That first date in there would get any guy high marks. It was just perfect ... oh, why won't there be more?!? (Or will there??)

I think that's all the news that I really have.
Unless you're dying to know how much I need to:
Do dishes
Clean the Catbox (smelly cat, smelly cat ...)
Take a shower
Put away fresh laundry ... well, it was fresh when I brought it home yesterday evening
Vacuum
Clean the bathtub
Buy a muzzle for my son who's refusing to fall asleep and is currently SCREAMING behind me (which I must admit makes it very hard to concentrate on typing)
Stop typing and finish reading blogs (which I'm going to do .... NOW.)
