Michael: That's just because we don't have any.

Bah.

As you can tell, we're not buying a house. Or a Lear Jet. Or 1000-thread-count sheets. Or cashmere sweaters. Or silky underthings. Or French perfume.

Here's what we are buying: Nothing unless we can't live without it. Namely food and diapers.

And Michael's taking it upon himself to figure out the kids' Halloween costumes.

Anyone have ANY idea on how to prepare for a trunk-or-treat? And how many bags of candy you have to buy for kids in two wards? If it's too much, we just won't go.

Maybe we'll just hole up in the back bedroom and watch House. since it will be a new episiode and all.

Have I become an anti-social and alienated grump now?
