Just now: Michael's laying on the floor while Zo-bug is grabbing what's left of an Arrowroot-whatever cookie/biscuit/thing on the floor. M: "Zoë, I don't think you should be eating that cookie. It's been on the floor for a while." THEN, without missing a beat, replies for Zo, "But Daddy, it's still under the ten-hour rule." Earlier today, Michael was holding Bruce while I got dressed after my shower. I look out the bedroom door to see my little boy staring at me. Yes, my children are getting the best of child-rearing, no? :P Bruce has a tooth coming in. We weren't made aware of this throught a change of attitude or anything. No. Michael felt it while Bruce gnawed on one of his fingers. Crazy!! Oh, in other news, I won a contest! I got a call today about an entry i had filled out. I got third prize ... $300 worth of laser hair removal. I've always wanted to try this (and, needless to say) it's never fit in the family budget. So I'm pretty thrilled. Just think, I might not have to shave my armpits ever again! (Don't I wish?? And if I can get my legs done, I'll be in hog heaven!) Michael started to wonder what was up with me. I took down the black shelves in the living room (since Bruce and Zo were WAAAAAY too interested in candles and pictures and whatnot ... and it wasn't steady enough to support their weight when they try to climb it), boxed up a good deal of what was on the shelves, rearranged everything that I didn't box up around the rest of the house, and did I stop there?? NO, I did NOT! I got the TV-stand-that's-not-being-used-as-a-TV-stand (but instead is housing all the pictures and photo albums) safe for B&Z to play around. IS THAT ALL?? NO, it's NOT!! I also moved the bookshelf in the living room next to the TV-S-t-n-b-u-a-a-TV-s in order to cover the outlest from Bruce's curiousity and nimble little fingers. Now the swing in the living room can be put closer to the wall. That opens up a bit of space in here (if only Exersaucers were collapsible!!) ... and with all the stuff in here, ANY bit of extra space is appreciated. Bruce is trying to get at the keyboard. Also, he finds extreme happiness in crawling into the hallway (and from there, being sneaky and finding the joy of crawling into the bathroom and sucking on the shower curtain or standing up and playing with the fuzzy toilet-seat cover -OR- crawling into our bedroom and standing up against our bed or the dining-room chair that's in there [since I have no other place to put it, really, since I rearranged the kiddos' room]). Zoë enjoys being in the hallway, but she doesn't care to go into our room too much. She loves the bathroom, since that's where bathtime takes place ... and Zo-zo loves her some bathtime! I think I closed all parentheses ... I hope! Well, that's most of everything I can think to write. Oh, and I've gotten bored with Solitaire and Hearts on the computer and have now become addicted to (once I learned HOW to win) Freecell. NOW I REALLY have to do something about the desk. Bruce just pulled out the bag of permanent markers again. Oy.
