It's from too much stimulation. Wednesday, my mom and aunt came to visit. I had a great time. So did Bruce and Zo (and Michael, too!!). But Bruce (and Zo, but to SO much of a lesser degree) got so excited that he wasn't going to sleep until 11:30. This is nuts, since he's usually asleep around 9 or 9:30.

Yesterday was one of my sisters'-in -law birthday, so she had a party over at the folks'. Again, the kids were so excited wtih all the noise and people that they were overly tired. They slept pretty well ... fell asleep in the van on the way back around 9:20, slept until about 3, ate, went to sleep until 5 (Bruce) and 7 (Zoë).

Today, after a couple of days of not sleeping well (can you blame them? These seven-month-olds do NOT want to miss a thing!), Michael and I are faced with two very grumpy kindern (yeah, I slip German words in my vocab ... vokab auf Deutsch, that is).

I would write more ... but Zo is FREAKING OUT. She may be hungry, so I'll try feeding her before she headbutts Michael AGAIN. Oy.

Is it bad that I sometimes wish for a mute (or at least a pause) button for these two??
